The course aims to:
• Understand the fundamentals of pharmaceutical preformulation, including solubility, partitioning, powder, and compaction properties.
• Learn the formulation, preparation, and administration of various solution dosage forms, both oral and topical.
• Explore the principles and techniques involved in developing suspensions, including stability, rheology, and compounding methods.
• Study the formulation and delivery mechanisms of aerosols and foams, with focus on metereddose inhalers and topical/vaginal applications.
• Gain knowledge of parenteral dosage forms, including types of injections, sterilization methods, and production standards.
• Develop an understanding of storage, packaging, and labeling practices across all listed dosage forms to ensure quality and patient safety.
